Yeah, I'm that stupid about wiring but had to ask. Lester Piggott likes this. Got any more Chevy diagrams? Bash'n'WeldApr 25, YOu can also loop Bat and number two at the alternator Then you only have the gauge wire if you have one and the line back to the battery to route.
Get rid of the gauge wire and you're down to a homemade one wire alternator. You need the indicator lamp or a resistor to exite the alternator. ScottApr 25, I didnt want to run a warning light on the excite wire and tried several way to hook it up, finally hit on a good way.
Connect it to the unused pole on the starter that was originally used to supply power to the points during cranking, the momentary connection is all you need to get the altenator working then upon shutdown it cant backfeed the ignition circut. Works for me have done it several times. Just my 2 cents worth. I'll have to try it. I love learning new sh-t! ConceptVehicleDesignApr 26, Great post. THanks for the info!
MulldaApr 26, Is there supposed to be a hot wire from the battery to the end post also? Thank you. I looked at a junction block for c Picture below. Yes, the info shows a battery connection at the junction block. The complete wiring daigrams are in the images below.
There is three wires from the engine wire harness hooked up to the block one is from the alternator. Do you. Welcome to the forum.

Images Click to enlarge. Was this answer. I do have power on A6. All these fuses are OK and are on the left side of the fuse box Which is the Batt side which I think should be a permanent 12V. This is telling me that I may have a feed problem to the fuse box. Can anyone tell me where the feed is to the fuse box and what color wire should it be?
I have checked the wires from the convenience center and they are OK. I have also checked for 12v down line from the fusable link and that is OK if it is the black lump in the wire from the convenience center! The only fuseable links 2 that feed your fuse block come off the starter solenoid unless you have a factory dual battery system.
It sounds like most of your fuse block is dead. If it's not one of the links by the starter it must be in the fuse block itself.

Born in the heart of Pukekohe, Preview and District have become the go-to stores for fashion conscious locals. We typically would never book a vacation through a travel site due to thinking that we could book a better vacation for ourselves. Since this was our honeymoon, we did not want to deal with the stress of booking everything ourselves and deal with a wedding.
Everything went flawlessly from the moment that we arrived to Iceland to the moment that we left. We could never have planned a trip like Nordic Visitor planned for us. I could go on and on about how amazing everything was but the bottom line is that we would definitely book with Nordic Visitor again if we had the chance. Probably the most important service I received was Cecilia's prompt answers to all my questions. My requests were handled expeditiously.
As for the accommodations, they ranged from very good to excellent. Of particular note is the fact that Cecilia had to react quickly to hotel employees' strike at one of the hotels.
She quickly found arranged for me to stay at another hotel, which was most impressive (both her ability to improvise and the quality of the hotel). She was also quite helpful in recommending certain places of interest to visit and the advisability of purchasing city passes for transportation and sightseeing. I loved how we used a different day tour agent for each of our planned trips, as it made it varied and we could compare how big the groups were. Each one were amazing, friendly, informative and spoke very good English.

The packages are great on there own, but the fact that they could be customised to what we wanted made it amazing. The service with yourselves is efficient and informative, with quick responses by email.
Our whole holiday package was well planned, organised and went well stress free. Our Nordic Visitor travel assistant was Audur Steinberg. She was extremely helpful, answered all of my questions, was very friendly, very informative, and worked hard to get us a customized trip.
Honestly, my wife and I had been planning to go to Argentina, I was planning the trip, but the travel assistant I was using was very unresponsive, unhelpful, and seemed annoyed when I would email questions. I came across a Nordic Visitor ad online and decided to check it out. Because Audur was so wonderfully helpful, I talked with my wife and we decided to drop Argentina and go to Iceland instead. So thank you Audur. The quality of the accommodations and food was consistently high.
We were very impressed. Our hosts, wherever we stayed, were friendly, helpful and made us feel at home right away. We have already recommended your services to friends and will do so again. We hope to return to Iceland someday and we will be using your services again. The entire holiday was perfect from the moment I booked the tour with Nordic Visitor up to the time we left. All the information was very helpful and the car and guesthouses were all perfect.
There was only one small issue during the trip that was resolved very quickly and did not take away from the wonderful experience. It was a perfect holiday. My daughter and I loved your country and it was enhanced by a well thought out and planned holiday by Nordic Visitor. I already provided your contact information to three other people, so far. Wonderful experience and I plan on coming back one day and seeking assistance from Nordic Visitor.
Thank you for providing an excellent holiday with every detail planned out and anticipated. Erla Sonja was wonderful to work with and was always available to answer questions and make changes quickly. Even when she went on holiday, Thordis took over and assisted me the same day I requested a change.

This is the best holiday I have been on so far and it was definitely because of the excellent service and attention to detail that Nordic Visitor provided. This trip far surpassed my expectations.
What a beautiful country AND we got lucky and saw the Northern Lights on our second to last day. This tour allows for the freedom to go at your own pace while the Nordic Visitor guidebook aptly suggests an itinerary that is worth following.
We were not disappointed at all. The convenience of not having to research places to stay was the reason that we used Nordic Visitor, for I would not have known where to begin to book guesthouses in some of the remote areas in Southern Iceland. Hilmar was fantastic - always a prompt email response away - which was another level of convenience that made travelling to a foreign country that much easier.
After seeing the photos that we took, I have already recommended Nordic Visitor to three friends just in case they decide to visit. I can't say enough nice things about my experience with the company. Planning for Iceland was always going to be an issue for my partner and I due to our rather hectic work schedules, fortunately Nordic Visitor took care of everything for us.
It started with a quote that ended up being cheaper than three other competitors we had contacted, for pretty much exactly the same hotels and services. They were very good at tweaking parts of the trip to cater for our needs and went the extra mile in making sure all was the way we wanted it to be. The planning which we received prior to departure, and again on arrival, was thorough and easy to comprehend.
Times, schedules and information provided was all well documented and meant we had little to do in the run up to our trip.
We had opted for the self-drive full circle tour of the island and thanks to all the information could easily plan our days. The only downside is you do not realise until in Iceland how slow going from A to B can be. The 1 road is certainly not your average motorway, so you need to give yourself plenty of time to get places. It may be a bit confusing to novices who hope to see everything listed in the information booklets.
